Our Mega-Shredder |
|
In late 2005 we completed installation of our new 8000 HP mega-shredder and non-ferrous metal recovery plant. The shredder processes scrap at 300 tons per hour. In addition to now being able to sell ferrous shredded grades to our mill and foundry consumers and non-ferrous products to our domestic and export customers, we added additional volume capacity with improved productivity to our operation. These improvements allow us to continue to pay top competitive prices to our scrap suppliers and to provide high quality scrap products to our consumers.
